Terms of use
Terms of use for the Lamar Ceramics website.
Last updated: 14 October 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of lamarceramics.co.uk (the "website"). The website is run by Lamar Ceramics Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15238785, with its registered office at Prince William Avenue, Sandycroft, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 2QZ, United Kingdom ("Lamar", "we", "us").
By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Product information
The website is for information. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and no contract is formed through it. Supply of our products is governed by the quotation and terms of sale agreed with you or with your supplier.
Porcelain, quartz, brick and stone products vary naturally in colour, tone, veining and texture from one batch to another, and no two slabs are identical. Photographs, colours on screen and room settings are illustrations only, and the colour you see depends on your screen. Dimensions, thicknesses and technical data are given in good faith but may change. Always confirm your selection against a physical sample and the current technical data before ordering, cutting or installing.
Guidance on the website about suitability, installation, cleaning and care is general. It does not replace the advice of a qualified installer or fabricator for your particular project.
Warranty
Our product warranty is governed by the Letter of Warranty, available on our warranty page. It is valid only when the end customer registers within three months of purchase. Submitting the registration form is an application: each one is checked by our team before the warranty is confirmed. Information given in an application must be true and complete.
Using the website
You must not:
- use the website in any way that breaks the law, or for any fraudulent purpose;
- submit false, misleading or someone else's information through our forms;
- introduce viruses or other harmful code, or try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or its database;
- copy or collect content from the website in bulk by automated means without our written permission.
We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.
Our content
The website and its content - including text, photographs, product images, designs, logos and the Lamar name - belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
You may view the website, and print or download pages and documents such as catalogues and technical data sheets, for your own use in choosing or specifying our products. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, publish or use our images or content, including on other websites or in marketing, without our written permission.
What you send us
If you send us files or information through the website, such as an attachment with an enquiry, you confirm that you are entitled to share them and that they do not contain anything unlawful or harmful. We will use them to deal with your enquiry or application, as described in our privacy policy.
Links to other websites
The website links to other websites, including other Lamar regional websites and social media. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not run.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Questions about these terms can be sent to sales@lamarceramics.co.uk.
